Stephen Hill
FounderI started Mission Software in the year 2000 to create great solutions that our clients would love. I was a Microsoft Certified Trainer for 7 years and an MVP, I have been a programmer since 1987 (before Google, Facebook and Amazon even existed!).
At Mission, we set ourselves very high standards for quality, speed, ease of use, support, value for money and happy users. I have grown Mission Software into a company that has offices in the UK and India, is a Microsoft Certified Partner, UK Government listed, selling Enterprise solutions with integrated apps globally. We think in terms of careers not jobs, some of our programmers joined from college and were with us for 10 years or more before moving on to take senior roles with some of the largest global companies in Europe.
We think big, but believe small teams are the best way to manage projects and allow our staff to flourish in their own career and experience. At Mission you have more variety, will be given more responsibility and will be rewarded bigger and faster than in large development environments.

Our Passenger Transport Software
Our Mission Passenger Services software (“MPS”) manages every aspect of your one-off jobs, recurring trips and home to school passenger transport services, typically run by government and community transport operations. Whether you operate a fleet of vehicles, offer an ambulance service or are a council transport department, MPS is just right for you. Originally written in 1989 it has evolved into a sophisticated multi-user system that handles all aspects of trip management with optional in vehicle GPS route management & messaging, live tracking, trip recording and replay. It runs over the web or on company intranets, there’s no desktop software to install.

Shailley has 12+ years of experience as an HR Generalist. Her international experience has helped in the overall structure and functionality of the organization. Her HR Processes and activities are aligned with the organization's overall strategy.

Aesha is our UX / UI / Web & Graphic Designer. Her extraordinary talent and skillsets have made a huge impact on the company's business. Apart from web designing, she is also an amateur digital and analogue painter.

Our Programming team consists of a Project manager with 15+ years of experience who leaves no stone unturned to share the knowledge and skills with the subordinates, juniors, and freshers.

The quality assurance team is focused on providing confidence that the quality requirements of our software will be fulfilled. A quality assurance system works on a company's credibility, while also improving work processes and efficiency, and it enables a company to better compete in the market.

Programmers with muscle memory for coding
Must Have:
- Bachelors / Master’s Degree - Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
- Experience of project, development - SCRUM and AGILE methodology.
- C#, .NET 4.0/4.5, ASP.Net, MS-SQL, UI development experience.
- WinForms, WCF, Entity Framework, Web API, DevExpress, jQuery/AJAX.
- Google and Bing mapping API experience useful
- Azure mapping API experience would be very useful.
- A complete understanding of SQL systems, tables, relational rules, Indices.
- A methodical approach to programming, program design, development and testing.
- Experience of encryption, web security and security standards, firewalls.
- Large scale (enterprise) win form client/server applications.
- Strong problem solving, logic, and analytical skills.
- Extremely good Excel, Word, HTML and other common office applications.
